Easter Bunny Cupcakes

These pastel colored cupcakes with cute candy bunny ears will be a hit with your kids. Hop to it and make a batch of these fun Easter Bunny Cupcakes to put in a basket or display on a dinner table! 🐰🐣


INGREDIENTS

  • Favorite chocolate cupcake box mix

  • Pink food coloring

  • Lemon yellow food coloring

  • Kelly green food coloring

  • Bright White Candy Drizzles Pouch

  • Violet food coloring

  • Sky blue food coloring

  • 3 cups white decorator icing

TOOLS

  • Cupcake pan

  • White cupcake liners

  • Cooling rack

  • Cake board

  • Parchment paper

  • Tape

  • Parchment Triangles

  • Mixing bowls

  • Toothpicks

  • Decorating bags

  • Spatula

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make and bake cupcakes. Line a cupcake pan with line cupcake liners. Prepare the cupcake batter following the recipe directions. Bake cupcakes and when done, remoce them from the pan and let them cool completely on a cooling rack.

  2. Make Candy Melts candy bunnies. download and print the Wilton bunny pattern and then place it on a cake board. Cover the pattern with parchment paper and tape it in place. Melt the Candy Melts candy by following the directions on the package then place the melted candy in a parchment bag. Pipe the ears and bodies first. Chill approximately 5 minutes. Pipe heads. Chill until set, about 5 minutes. Outline and fill in bunny shapes.

  3. Tint the icing and prepare the decorating bags. Divide 3 cups of icing into 5 parts and tint it with food coloring so you end up with your favorite colors. Place each color of tint icing in a separate decorating bag fitted with tip 1M.

  4. Decorate the cupcakes. 1M rosettes on tops of the cupcakes, alternating icing colors. Use an angled spatula to carefully remove the candy bunnies from the parchment paper. Place one bunny on top of each cupcake. Enjoy!
